Pardon my ignorance, is JOTES the new name for JDSC?

I'm so long in the tooth now, they have probably stopped writing on tablets of stone.

Lt to Capt, eh?  Now that is ancient history! My Bn ran mine in a field in Hampshire one Saturday in 1984.  Sounds like thing have got more complicated.

Good luck El Pato.

Try to get on a JOTES course as an 'observer' first. It will help prevent the startled rabbit syndrome.

Won't be too long before JOTES takes on a different guise, as the whole of the Regular and TA Officer's career is being reviewed under ROCC.
