A quick one, how old is it to join the infantry i thought it was 16 but some people say 17?
16 for ADC Bassinbourne
15 and 7 months I think. You will do your training in Harrogate or Bassingbourn I'm not sure if theres another place where 15 to 17 year olds go.
You can be 15 7months to join the Army, but have to be 16 to start your training as a junior at Harrogate or Bassingbourn. You have to be over 17 1month to start your basic as a senoir entry. (I think)
You can make your application at 15 and 7 months to be a Junior soldier and your best bet (if selected) is Army Foundation College Harrogate, you may be too late for the September intake!
I was told by my AFCO in Febuary that they had oversubscribed for the intake in September (whether this true I don't know).
