Catering Manager with ISAF AFGN contract catering experience, seeking another overseas tour. Ex Army senior rank, fit, motivated and professional with the relevant qualifications and experience for running food service operations.

- Solid lifetime catering trade experience and able to deliver excellent food services in operational theatres
- Able to support and develop new start ups and revisions of existing food services in most situations
- Excellent organisational and logistics skills
- 35 years professional catering in military and civilian establishments
- City and Guilds and management qualifications
- NEBSS /ILM Certificate
- Production Supervisor experience and qualifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills

Theres a new job advertised in Forces Job Shop and here for Drivers for a new safari ride at Chessington World of Adventures Theme Park. I know that Chessington are especially keen to employ ex-military drivers as they will have experience of driving off road on exercise etc. The job comes with free entry for friends and family to Chessington as well as all of Merlin Entertainments other attractions worldwide which include all Legolands, Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, London Eye, London Dungeons and many more. The cut off date for applications is 4th Dec so if you want to be considered get your application in soon. I have worked there for 3 seasons now and I can recommend it as a fun and rewarding place to work.
 
If anybody interested few jobs going were I work all based in the docklands at the financial ombudsman service. Not a bad place to work and good stepping stone into finance and insurance.

DISPLAY FLEET MANAGER
Full Time and Permanent.
Salary: £27,000 per annum

Over 150,000 people visit the Tank Museum every year where we bring the history of tanks and tank crew to life. This is a fabulous opportunity to work for The Tank Museum as the Display Fleet Manager where you will be responsible for the management of the running display fleet of tanks and armoured fighting vehicles used for holiday activity displays, special events and vehicle rides. You will work closely alongside the Restoration Manager responsible for the overhaul, conservation and restoration of the museum’s historic tank collection.
This is a an exciting opportunity to join the Tank Museum at a time of rapid growth and development where, as the Display Fleet Manager, you will play an important role in leading and developing a team of technicians with regards to maintenance, servicing and repairs of the running fleet. Ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard of safety and operation.
You will have experience of managing a team in a workshop or similar environment, with hands-on engineering skills. Qualified to degree level or relevant qualification. As a vehicle rides operator you will be responsible for the maintenance of the tracked vehicles. You will be driving the tracked vehicle, working closely with the Workshop Team in delivering a unique visitor experience.
Full training will be given but you must have a full driving licence, minimum age 21, be flexible, with good customer service and organisational skills. Cash handling involved.
