is it going to be as good as the hype suggests?
To quote my nipper (I say nipper: he is 25 in a couple of months) who cares about such things having watched a trailer of maybe a minute on Sky News this morning:

"Not enough to go on: need to see a longer trailer."

It all looks slick and action-packed but there is no clue about any sort of plot. Will the former (and the 12-years-in-the-development 3D graphics) be enough to make up for a lack of the latter?
Today is International Avatar Day! 15min previews to be shown around the world.

I'm seeing it at 7pm tonight. :p

You need to collect your free tickets from www.seefilmfirst.com using a code I can't quite remember; search around for it on Google.
At least it'll be an original, new sc-fi series, as opposed to yet another remake or sequel...
Much as I enjoy the songster Astley's warblings, is this really what you want to spend your time doing?

heres the trailer , sort of like star wars meets lord of the rings :

This looks like utter shite.

Amazing what they can do with CGI though; Rick Astley was terrifying realistic.
