It seems to be as black and white as that for many among the current generations of young Americans (and indeed young folk across the west of Europe). Understandable after a generation of PC, woke teachers indoctrinating them with a leftist agenda.

Yet, a Socialist Democrat like Bernie Sanders didn't seem to palatable to Democrats. Which is surprising given that he'd have attempted to do a lot for the disadvantaged compared to Beijing Biden or Hillary and being likely to give Trump a run for his money too.

I seem to recall several years ago that the UK invested quite a substantial volume of millions in the Jamaican prison system, the argument being at the time, the prisons weren't fit for purpose. UK lawyers had won several cases for villains, mostly illegal 'Yardies' who couldn't be returned to such an environment.

Any Foreigner Serving in HM Forces has the right to obtain Citizenship, The fact they don't is because HM Forces accept Commonwealth personnel Under their own Passport. It is a Sorry event they are not automatically given UK Citizenship. The same is true in the US a Foreigner can enlist in the US Forces and after they are discharged they are still a Foreigner and can be deported. It happened a lot to the Soldiers who fought in Nam some with injuries that should be covered by the VA, but are not..
