Jacqui Smith - just to make everyone throw up a little.

Of course it's because she's female. Nothing at all to do with expecting the highest standard of probity from the Home Secretary.

Still seems to be shying away from the fact that they were hermer-porn; other than that it's just attention-seeking publicity for her new TV show. Plus I thought she was forced to resign for general incompetence rather than for having turned her husband gay.

Hilarious.

Whether her husband used porn is irrelevant.

Why did she claim for it?

Idiot.

It's good to see however that she is now gainfully employed as a BBC Radio presenter, what was it that made the BBC select her to present the documentary, was it the same objective criteria that were used to have John Prescott present a TV programme on class?

Seems dear old 'Jackboot Jackie' still doesn't get the concept that we have the option to stay within both the spirit and the letter of the systems we must operate within. There were MP's who managed to use the expenses system in a responsible way without abusing it, so the concept was understood at Westminster. And there were thieving cnut's who abused the system - and still winge: "it wasn't my fault - everyone was doing it".

Still, there was a sort of justice - she got sacked by the electorate. And will hopefully be an unemployment statistic for a good time longer.

A truly vomit inducing politician....

Not so - I read recently that she has picked up a nice little consultancy with a company that her department just happened to give a big contract to (no conflict of interest, of course). Isn't it nice to see these 'men and women of the people' deservedly doing so well for themselves?

Oh Dear!

She said it was a "very brave" way to head off the controversy, and hopes it may lead to further opportunities as a broadcaster.
A deary dull personality-void specimen who has to have a doc about porn just to bump up the viewing figures by a few thousand hopeful pervies, otherwise it'll be a hour-long drivel abour her being picked-on.

Great, having to choose to Out your husband or your son. I bet she thought for milliseconds on that one?

Hmmm.
I still reckon "she's" really Prescott in drag.

Well you never see em both at the same time do you?

A bayonet up the jaxie perchance. The poor dear. It didnt go all Pete Tong because she was claiming tax payers money for her husbands Gonzo porn habit. It was because she is a woman. Fucks sakes. Can these people not ooze back under the stones quietly?

She has allegedly managed to get a consultancy gig for KPMG, who as you have said, coincidentally done very well out of Home Office contracts when she was in charge.

From the people I have spoken to who worked in that environment she was a shite Home Secretary and was not liked at all by those who had to deal with her.

The old gender card gambit, shame she couldn't raise the black lesbian one too, she could have had a full house.
