Arrse is international and his is hardly germane to the UK, not only that it doesn't even come under the remit of Shooting Sports.
(Unless we're cosidering the difference between games and sports... ;) )

Nevertheless I thought it might have some interest amongst the readership here. It concerns 'open carry' in the US.
(Personally I prefer concealed as it prevents goblins making a try for the item, but horses for courses I suppose.)

Here's Starbucks take on the idea, and I can understand their point of view.
I've always felt much safer in places where the population were permitted to carry than where it was forbidden.

Those I'm familiar with know that I drink coffee two, perhaps three times a year, but Starbucks can count on my support every time I see them now.
If I snuff it soon my obituary may well say 'died of a caffeine overdose while giggling at the rabbit people.'

Have you ever been to Liverpool?
That may have been where it started ! :D

But the key word is permitted.
(Unless were talking of PIRA members PPWs :x )
