"Downing Street said Lord Mandelson was the minister in charge of day-to-day affairs and was "contactable". He has been on holiday in Corfu this week."

Quick bolt the back doors and don't let him back in

Too late, I'd imagine he's busy banging on the 'back door' as we speak.

It's coming to something when John Prescott is seen as a less bad option.....

Sorry but i cannot get over the fact that this man who is unelected, is actually in charge of the government, us, we (ok you) great few. How can this even be an option? Why are we putting up with it? The contempt with which this government hold the electorate is palpable.

Ah well, whats on telly...................................

If I read this correctly, some unelected buffoon is in charge of the UK.

No change there then, its just one big fcuking joke to these idiots.
Not just unelected, but a crook and a queer to boot.

Britain has sunk to a new low.

Show some respect please: all reference to "Mandy" must henceforth be replaced by:

The Right Honourable the Lord Mandelson of Foy in the county of Herefordshire and Hartlepool in the county of Durham, First Secretary of State, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills and Lord President of the Council.

Said title must be used when corresponding with him on matters concerning any of the 7 Ministers of State and 4 Parliamentary Secretaries who now report directly to an (unelected) political appointee whose nearest historical equivalent is said to be Cardinal Wolsey

Some academics dispute this on the grounds that Wolsey is most unlikely to have ever mistaken mushy peas for guacamole.

Technically some unelected buffoon is always in charge of the UK - We elect a party not a person over here :D

We might be better off without any of the clowns in charge. ordinary folk could just get on with things without their meddling and posturing.

Thanks Sherlock,
I realise that, however, when you are voting for a party, you are also voting for the charismic leader of the party at that moment in time. Brown nay Labour, would have been fcuked off at the high port if he had been their chosen one which is why they waited until after the election.

That being said, no one has voted fondlebum into any official office.

(Remind me again why we gave ALL women the vote?) :safe:

Well, the fact is that we dont really need anyone to be in charge do we, the ship of state is high on the rocks so there needs to be no one at the helm, least of all some turd burglar with a very decorous title, whatever, it,s Buggins turn next, bags me, I couldn,t make any more of a mess than we are now in. Going the pub.

It could in fact be the funniest Coup in history, imagine the reaction if one of these clowns called on the military to install them, every single one of them would be up against the wall shot. Hang on.... excuse me, I'm going to fire off an email assuring lord bum bandit we will support him. :)
