Wow, San Marino just near Rimini is an independent republic. Every day is a learning day. :)

Andorra, Monaco, and Lichtenstein are all independent principalities. Most people would be pushed to find them on a map.

Every day is indeed a school day.

The Isle of Dogs, and Hay on Wye, have both declared UDI too. Admittedly it was a long time ago.

A small town declaring independence. That would make a great plot for a film. Could call it something like "Passaporte to Filettino".

Knew all of them. Just never heard of the San Marino one.
