IT Support German Speaker

Hi folks,

The company I work for is looking for a fluent German and English speaking application support specialist, must be based in Berlin, Utecht or close to either. Salary C40-50 K Eur.

Key responsibilities

  • Accurately record, update and manage incidents using incident management tools;
  • Proactively managing day to day tasks & incidents raised by customers, keeping them informed and ensuring that agreed KPIs are achieved;
  • Working closely with internal and external technical Teams to drive incidents through to resolution;
  • Undertake all appropriate BAU tasks using agreed corporate processes;
  • Requirement to work in shifts & on-call;

  • Methodical & thorough approach to problem solving with strong documentation, planning & organisation skills;
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems (particularly Windows 7 & Windows Server 2012 platforms);
  • Experience in the following: Cluster, Linux, SQL, SSH, Scripting – Perl, Bash, PHP (would be advantageous);
  • Understanding of complex and highly integrated IT environments ;
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written in English & German;
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a passion and attitude to deliver excellent service, whatever the circumstances;
  • Experience working with Help Desk tools like Salesforce, Jira and an understanding of ITIL Foundation for process such as Incident and Change management.
