#1
Changing unit and kitting in for transfer, I have found that I am missing a few bits of kit, I dont know how much they are going to cost to replace through the QM and they can be worn out ragged things anyway. If you are getting rid of the below I would be grateful.

8430-99-1308-365 Shoes, Fitness training, size 11
8415-99-3761-638 Shorts, PT mans, Medium
8465-99-730-2314 strap, waist
8465-99-196-1709 bag insertion

PM me if you have said items. Beer money provided. Needed by 4th January.

Thanks

Not big deal then- I was worried they would want somthing mad like £100 for a pair of silver shadows. I actually wore them out at pirbright and binned them yonks ago but just got an earful about gov'ment property, so its time to pay the piper. Thanks I will write a cheque payable to the queen and send it in with my kit.

My 1157 takes up 5 pages. There are 163 different items and 240 issues in total. To replace all these items would cost £3000. What I've noticed is that the QMs clothing store NCO is good at adding new kit as the NSNs change (i.e. superceded / different size) but forgets to remove the replaced items which have a different nsn. That's why I've got 2 sets of No.2s, 12 Cbt 95 Shirts and multiple issues of gortex and other kit on the list.

8430-99-1308365 Shoes, Fitness training, size 11 £10.84
8415-99-3761638 Shorts, PT mans, Medium £4.11
8465-99-7302314 strap, waist £3.61
8465-99-1961709 bag insertion £3.83

Total of £22.39 hardly breaking the bank - might still be cheaper to hand in a bottle of booze :)
