Israeli Independence Day. יום העצמאות‎ Yom Ha'atzmaut

Today at sunset the Israeli Day of Independence starts and continues until sunset 15 Apr 2021.
That's 73 years of independence which got off to an interesting start when the Arab neighbours immediately attacked Israel and came second.
A nation that is 3000 ish years old but a country only 73 years old, with enough trials and tribulations. Here's to a happy independence day and the next 73 years trouble free!

Plus another 73 after that.


I remember there was a lot of noise and happiness for the 21st anniversary in '69' that was in Golders Green. It must have been epic in Tel Aviv!
