Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I'v searched the forum and can't find the answer I'm looking for so I thought I'd ask.

I have only resently started training, but after running I feel a tightness in my lungs and was wondering if its a normal side affect of running.

I'm not talking about the fact that I'm out of breath, but for 3-4 hours after finishing the workout, regaining breath and showering/changing, I feel a slight tightness and was just wondering if it was normal?
  2. Do you smoke?
  3. Nope, never have.
  4. Doctor will tell you. If you are unfamiliar with training you nay not realise what aches and pains to expect, so be cautious, check yourself out.
  5. Maybe you have a brain tumour, or maybe first signs of a heart attack ..... you could have only weeks to live
  6. Im 17, Just joining the TA and just passed my medical, im not over weight ether, and never had asthma
  7. Army says you're fit so man up you fairy! :D

Edited to add it's probably girl stitch
  8. Lots of people post questions like this on here. However, the best answer is to see your doctor.
  9. Thanks everyone, I'll be going down the doctors soon.
