Is the EU is about to collapse?

...and of course our Dear Maybot led Tory-Conmen Party are courting the Communist Chinese government to design, finance, and probably run a the new gerneration of Nuclear Power Stations at sites like the old Bradwell Magnox nuclear power station in Essex, which is being decommissioned at the moment. Why is it the UK Government is allowing strategic nuclear facilities and utilities to be financed by Communists? Are the Maybot and the Conservaives mad, or just greedy and ignoran, and arrogant, want who to sell off the whole of the UK if they can get away with it.

But then, would a Communist-Marxist Labour Party in government under Corbyn, Mcdonnal and 'momentuite' fakirs do likewise and 'Mugabwe-ize' and 'Venezuela-ize' the whole of the UK. None of our elected Boys and gels have any 'backbone', except that which comes out of bottles, and cans of Special Brew and Brasso in the House of commons and House of Lords Bars.

..... and another thing.... Macron of La Belle France has threatened the UK with visas for Brits travelling to France after 'brexit'. This is just another gallic Blow Hard and Muppet bumping his gumbs. At NO point have UK Passport holders ever, repeat, ever had to have Visas for visits to France or the Continent, even in the 1920s and 1930s, and certianly NOT in the post World War Two years. Marcon is looking for headlines to make money out of us Brits - its all political bullshite.

At NO time in the Post World War Two years did UK travellers have to apply for visas to travel too, or through France for other European destinations. All that was required was a full, valid and up-to-date UK passport. In all the years in the 1960s and 1970s when travelling from West Germany back to the UK on leave etc, I never, never had to apply for a visa. All I showed was my UK Passpaort, or my Military ID Card, Travel Warrant and Leave Certificate as proof of be being a serviceman travelling too or from duty.

Marcorn is just talking 'bowllocks and is a 'T**t!"

As 2018 draws to a close, are we nearer or further away from EU armegeddon?

An EU Superstate, a 'New Empire' with its own Grande Armee and a President-Kaizer-Czar with executive powers like the Septics Presidential sytem - this is the long term goal of the Brussels Politburo of the EU-SSR, or as it will morph itself into a new Soviets, or a New Holy Roman/EU Empire (whatever it will be entitled).

The current EU membership is blowing hot and cold on this, there does not appear to be an overall appetite for either, an Army or a Superstate. Only people like Merkel, Macron and a few others are calling for this. However, like anything, we will have to see what occurs over the coming years, especially over the mass migration 'problem', Greece, Italy, Spain and perhaps Portugal, and of course the UK's 'Brexit' plans. All this will take time. Depending how it goes, whether any other EU states will also deciide to hold Referedums over EU membership remains to be seen. Sweden appears to be a good case which might occur, they are like us, they have not joined the Eurozone and have their own currency. Howeve rthe problem with their 'Guests' and 'cultural, rapey stuff' amongst their 'Guests' from far off hot, sweaty places might persuade your average Swede to look at the whole subject again - but this is just speculation at the this time.

So many inaccurate tropes crammed into a single post

My Euros worth, the EU does have a number of severe problems, eg Greece, Italy, Hungary, refugees. That will result in interesting times, but no collapse, there will however almost certainly be frantic efforts to ward off any impending doom.

Europe 'coming apart before our eyes', say 30 top intellectuals

More Europe will be the answer.

Good luck to them.
Europe insn't coming apart at the seams like a piss stained mattres -- it is the European Union and it dreams of 'Building an Empire' or Superstate. Many EU nationals don't want this to happen, and don't buy into a superstare, whatever form this might become. The internal stresses within the EU, mass migration from far off, hot sweaty fly blown places, cultures and religions that are not compatibale with European culture and history. The EU has its uses, however it is becoming too authoritarian in its nature. As well as our own political leaders and elites in the UK becoming more incompetent and amateurish over the handling of the Brexit question - the EU is jsut as split in areas. Many of the larger EU states like Italy, Poland etc seem to be at loggerheads with the Brussels Politburo's Turd polishers such as Jean-Claude Bonkers, Barnier and Guy Vehofstadt.

We will have to wait and see developments of the coming weeks, moths and years. The first thing to go 'Pop' in the EU is the Euro currency possibly.

Things would be so much easier if the UK didn't have the EU over a barrel while negotiating the easiest deal in history.

I think it's time the OP edited the title of the thread.
Is the Eu about to collapse..........laughing?

The Express ran multiple headlines just after the vote telling us all how the EU was finished, that it would collapse 'as early as next week' etc - two years on, nothing, still I'm sure they'll print a full apologetic retraction just as prominently as they displayed their prophecies of doom.......any day now.........
Just like some belters predicted the stock market would crash, wars would start and other such horseshit.
