Is that it?

A sex offender who claimed he could not be a flasher because his genitals were too small has been jailed.

Married father-of-two Michael Carney, 41, from Stockton, Teesside, claimed he was too embarrassed about the size of his manhood to expose himself to women.

He was convicted of seven counts of outraging public decency in November. He earlier admitted four sex assaults.

He was sentenced to a total of 20 months in jail when he appeared at Teesside Crown Court.

The church-going university graduate grabbed female victims aged 14, 15, 18 and 43 while he was out jogging in a local park or by a school near his home in May and June last year.

'Causes embarrassment'

He would run up behind them and grab one of their breasts, and on one occasion tried to pull down one of his victims' bras.

Police arrested him in Ropner Park when one of his victims spotted him, and he pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual assault.

He asked for another offence, against a 13-year-old, to be taken into consideration.

Detectives investigated his past and looked into claims that he exposed himself to passers-by from inside his home.

He denied flashing and told the court: "It causes embarrassment to myself, even to the point where it is with my wife.

"I wouldn't want myself to be seen in public like that. My genitalia are underdeveloped."

He was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register for five years, and banned from entering parks without adult supervision.
