Oz you are probably correct but taking in the context of the match he was on to a loser straight away. The WI batsmen were just excellent. Their shot selection and improvisation were far superior to Englands.
Plus as well he has to try to impress when the higher order when only
Matt Prior and Collingwood did any real damage and quickly.
Added on top of that Englands' fielding was not that great and the bowling quote attack unquote did not have any real plan and were bowling short of a length on a batting wicket.
Good game though.
PS Yardy again was solid and reliable and I am not convinced that Cook who is a class Test and 4 day player is a genuine 20/20 specialist.
Game 2 tonight so lets see if there is any improvement. BTW
