Is it time for another General Election?

There still around are they?
Oh god, how about that monster looney raving mad lot party? Which one I hear you say.

Now that’s confused you hasn’t it?
The Official Monster Raving Loony Party [as opposed to all the others] has never been the same since Lord Sutch pegged it.

Im thinking of starting a new party......The National Socialist Party.

It has worked, with some success in the past.
It could garner support from the military if it engenders the myth of the stab in the wallet!

I honestly think it would be the lowest turn out since records began.
I couldn’t see myself voting conservative and definitely not labour.
What does that leave me with?
A spoiled ballot?

Some countries apparently have a 'None of the above' option on their ballot papers. If that was introduced for the next UK election I reckon there might be quite a few constituencies returning that result. No idea what that might cause in terms of local MP representation though.

None of the parties want a GE at the moment. Rumbling away in the background are the mandatory Association AGMs and the knives are out and being sharpened. Hence why the three Tories went independant, had they stayed put they would have been deselected against the will of the CCHQ, I would anticipate the same for the 8 Labour MP's. The Parties are in a chaotic state so God forbid TM does anything so crass as go to the Country. TM would not survive a GE as the 1922 committee will be forced to kick off a leadership contest.
The local elections are shortly to kick off and I am aware that some parties are having a real drama in getting people to stand for Town/District and County seats. I rather think we apply lots of sticky tape and hope and pray we get through the Brexit saga without the Independent Party becoming the majority then we are all stuffed!
Good points all. If May loses say, two or three more MPs, a GE may seem like her only way of controlling events.
Labour are on 26% in the polls. Yep, they are just polls. :)

And our uniforms will look fantastic!
By Hugo Boss or that other German Karl whatever his name was who has just snuffed it?
Or will you be seeking out a British designer?

I think she would be insane to do so! It would kill off the tories, who would elect them if they cant even deliver on a referendum result? I wouldn't!
Couldn't deliver on a referendum result, what do you call leaving the EU without a deal then*?

*Apart from being far from ideal, it's still leaving the EU, which is what the majority voted for (no specifics in the referendum remember).

It’s going well
This from UKIP and MEP Steven Woolfe

I intend to stand against Ms Soubry as a Conservative. The independence of this country now demands the most muscular force to protect it.

I’ll bet she kicks his arse. He should be used to it by now.

There you go go that explains Sajid Javid getting all tough on 15 year old runaways and pretending he can actually do something.

On Peston tonight, that’s a man who thinks he’s the next leader of the Conservatives and maybe if Labour hang on to Corbyn while he dithers about, a PM.

Like Davis, he too believes his own press, the difference being Javid has actually got brains.
