Ironing Kit

Don't iron it.

There are no straight lines in nature, razor sharp creases could give your position away.

If anyone asks why you haven't ironed it just tap your nose and say 'snipers'. You'll be an NCO in no time.

Press, not iron!

Don't worry about it. Ironing kit and having any sort of military bearing or self awareness is highly discouraged in the ACF, so just do whatever you feel best. :-D

Don't trust that I'm being told not to press/iron it when both instructors and the senior cadets in my detachment said that I had to.

Yeah but what do they know.

Ask them if they've ever had an RPG fired at them. If they say no tell them to fúcking jog on.

Iron uniform before putting it on.
There's a skool of thort that suggests leaving the kit on then pressing it: this way, you will have saved at least 20 minutes before parade. Also, if the balloon goes up and you're not dressed and still pressing . . . well, don't say that I didn't warn you.
