Millions of Iraqis are expected to go to the polls on Saturday to vote on a constitution they have never seen...
No matter, the poll will be called as historical anyway. And next step is an elections with invisible candidates. It is a great idea: invisible MPs, invisible PM, invisible president.

A detailed analysis of the casualties shows ordinary Iraqi citizens account for more than 90 per cent of fatalities. During August and September 2,842 civilians, 195 Iraqi soldiers and 137 coalition soldiers were killed.
First time I see numbers of killed Iraqi civilians. So 40-50 thousands were killed after the invasion.

Thank you, Sergey. Likewise.

In case anyone is wondering, I believe this is about 4 Armorgroup employees travelling in a British Embassy convoy being injured in a vehicle-borne suicide bomb attack this morning near Kandahar. 2 badly hurt, 2 slightly, none thought to be in a life-threatening condition.

Brother of my wife spent 2 years in Afghanistan in 80's. He remembers how his camp near Kandagar was shelled frequently by insurg... sorry freedom fighters.
