Maybe trying out their new F35s?
UFOs getting back at the Iranians for shooting at them? Or perhaps Zohal has gone rogue?

ETA article from the Jerusalem Post suggests that Tehran are attempting to head off speculation by admitting to the events but also playing them down.

Are three mysterious explosions in Iran linked? - analysis

This follow up from Thursday references suggestions of sabotage in an area above the centrifuges. Also Seth says "Iran may be hinting at threats to Israel now."

What took place at the Iranian Natanz nuclear facility?
The incident is the third mysterious explosion in a week and has led to many questions.

Hamas leader claims they are "at the height of" their power and that Israel is declining. St Jeremy the backbencher will be delighted with that news. Short Jerusalem Post article.

Iran speaks to Hamas about annexation
The discussion was about confronting Israel and getting the “Zionists" to “leave the occupied territories.”

Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf reached out to Hamas in recent days to speak with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyah, according to Iran’s Tasnim news agency. Ostensibly the discussion was to listen to Hamas mourn the memory of IRGC Quds Force head Qasem Soleimani. In fact the discussion was about confronting Israel and getting the “Zionists" to “leave the occupied territories.”

Not sure why the Israelis are physically attack Iran, they seem to be able to screw Iran at will.

Israel was behind a cyberattack that disrupted a major port in Iran, done in response to an attempt by the Revolutionary Guards to infiltrate an Israeli water facility.

More trouble in Iran, someone is playing with them.

If this is an ongoing series of cyber attacks, someone is going though a lot of technological capital in a short period as, once deployed, forensics will (eventually) figure out how it was done, even if they can't attribute to a particular actor. So the questions have to be, what's the message to Iran, and why at this particular point in time?

I read the States, who ever feels Trump may not get another term so who ever pulls the strings in such matters is uping the ante. Tin foil, what ever but it does seems like a concerted attack of some kind, not coincidence.

The Iranian’s appear top be reaping what they sow. The attack on Israel in late April that came from Iran was viewed as a significant escalation, and a crossing of a red line because it targeted civilian infrastructure.

The head of Israel’s National Cyber Directorate said after the attack, it could have resulted in injecting high doses of chlorine or other chemicals into the water supply.

There was also the chance that this could have triggered a fail-safe, shut down the pumps and left thousands without water during a deadly heatwave in Israel.

This Iranian cyber attack on Israeli water facilities certainly appears to have triggered a response.

There has been ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel with Iran vowing to eliminate Israel, who has carried on non stop elimination of Irans IRGC missile in Syria, but this recent cyber conflict is ramping up steadily.

Seems we are not talking about some minor damage. But its a coincidence.

Nearly three-quarters of Iran’s main centrifuge assembly hall was destroyed by the recent explosion there, Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS) president David Albright told The Jerusalem Post.

Albright indicated that this latest revelation is based on two new satellite overviews showing a much fuller picture than footage that was released last weekend, indicating that the vast majority of the centrifuge assembly hall was wiped out.

Looks like this is becoming a weekly 'event'.

'An explosion rocked western Tehran early Friday, state media reported, causing widespread power failures in two residential areas and unnerving Iranians awakened for the third consecutive week by an early-morning blast.

'The precise location of Friday’s explosion was unclear, but analysts said there are several military and training facilities in the area that could be the target of sabotage. A cause was not immediately determined. “There are two underground facilities, a site associated with chemical weapons research and an unidentified military production site,” said Fabian Hinz, an Iran military expert and research associate at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies.

'It was the third major explosion to have occurred in Iran between midnight and 3 a.m. over three consecutive weeks. The first two explosions occurred at key military and nuclear bases — in Khojir, home of the country’s largest missile production facility; and at the Natanz nuclear base, at a building that housed centrifuge assembly.

'Iran described the Khojir episode as a gas tank explosion. Independent analysts said it was unclear whether the cause was an accident, sabotage or something else, although they noted that Iran had initially given a misleading location. Iran has not publicly disclosed the results of its investigation into the Natanz explosion, citing national security concerns. But a Middle Eastern intelligence official with knowledge of the episode said Israel was responsible for the attack on the Natanz nuclear complex, using a powerful bomb. A member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps who was briefed on the matter also said that an explosive was used.

'The string of explosions have Iranians on edge, coming amid the coronavirus pandemic, a free-falling currency and economic hardship. “Explosion after explosion? How many security holes do you have?” one Iranian asked on Twitter.'

Their industrial H&S standards really are going to pot.

'A fire broke out at a gas plant in eastern Iran on Monday followed by an explosion in the area, according to Iranian media.

'The incident took place at a gas condensate plant in the Kavian Fariman industrial zone in the Razavi Khorasan province, state-run television reported. The fire was brought under control without it spreading to surrounding factories, it said. The cause of the incident is under investigation.'

Taking after the USS Bonhomme Richard, but 7 of them?

'At least seven ships have caught fire at the Iranian port of Bushehr, the Tasnim news agency reported on Wednesday, in what appeared to be the latest in a series of unexplained incidents around nuclear and industrial installations since late June.

'No casualties have been reported, the agency said.'

Iran’s hackers caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

They shoot down a 737 full of Iranians, they sink one of their own ships, these jokers now broadcast live video of themselves hacking accounts.

They are desperate to make nuclear weapons...which they would probably blow themselves up with.

And Obama released 1.7 billion dollars to these trouble makers??????

WTF was he thinking????

Morning All,
From today's local 'comic'.
Not relevant to the big picture but I think I'd have GTFOD as soon as I'd stitched the good General up.
