Maybe I should clarify..... I am completely without any fiscal morality when it comes to accessing TV on the web... Any 'tips' perhaps best sent via PM..

All the episodes of the Scottish comedy Still game are on youtube . If you do not know what it is its like a rude version of Last of the summer wine .
Does that show have a Scottish equivalent of the old boy in the Army jacket in it? :? I quite liked him.

Cheers AeM. The only thing with YouTube (unless I'm missing something) is one can't watch complete episodes of programmes, only snippets.
You can get long episodes on Youtube now. I got through the whole series of Colditz, the 1970s drama, over Christmas and it was the best viewing I'd seen for a while.

I'm finally paying the price for a debauched life of disgusting excess and am wallowing in the darkened hell that is an NHS hospital.

By some bureaucratic oversight, free WiFi is available, but my normally fertile imagination is blank and I can't think of any useful way to make use of it, apart from BBC IPlayer and Arrse of course.

So, recommendations please, for entertaining websites, subjects favoured include those close to the hearts of your average ArrsePerson, ie fast cars, big guns, history involving big guns, anything delightfully non-pc, and anything else you may enjoy.

But, please, and I feel dirty just writing this in the present exalted company, no porn..... My lovely mummy visits regularly and she's prone to looking over my shoulder at my phone.

And she's very old...
Hope you're not in for too long. Speedy recovery to rejoin us mad Arrseholes soonest. If you can get on you tube, as well as what Grouchy said #19, Chewin' the Fat. Equally not for the PC brigade, but stuff them.

You can watch two-hour concerts through YouTube now. Try Australian Pink Floyd Show Live at the Albert Hall.

Edit. Or, better, Brit Floyd Live at Red Rocks.

It's 100% funnier than LOTSW and bears repeated viewing.

Since you're poorly sick @Awol , I've found series 1, episode 1 on Youtube as part of a playlist that includes the rest of series 1, plus further episodes if you decide you like it. Still Game is a comedy classic.

War & Peace will be a nice easy read on a mobile phone.

That's all my ideas out of the window, but seriously, I hope you're out and fighting fit in quick time

Youtube will give you everything on your list there mate, and more, much much more.

I do hope your stay is brief.
Seconded for youtube - try some of the foreign movies for a different view of the world. The Koreans do some good movies and they usually have subtitles.

Podcasts? There are masses of them, depending on what tickles your fancy.

If want something to watch at the same time, slow tv on youtube?
