Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. "BBC news asks another disgruntled employee...the same questions" these people have no loyalty, read between the lines, it sounds like she missed a doctors appointment and then made out she was harasses by the doctor to get away with it.

  2. Thats a pretty sexist position to take.........

  3. You seen the Sun, she takes a pretty sexiest position in there too.....

£12000, and the fact she will never be trusted by anyone again, thats a real victory.

  4. You would though, wouldn't you....?

    Especially Mates wearing this outfit.

    AAAAhhhhhh, Bisto...!

  5. Some odd aspects of that BBC story.

Apparently this lady served in the 3rd, then the 4th, Battalions of the Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire. Territorial Army units, surely. How long ago were they disbanded? You wouldnt guess any of that from the story.

Of course sexism is sexism, whether it happens in a part-time or full-time unit. The same standards should apply.

Standards should apply to journalism too.

  7. The INT CORPS were not on BBC news. She was TA INT CORPS, it's not the same as the real thing.................

  8. Indeed! They were a 70s pop band weren't they?

  9. Quote........Sebastienne was transferred to the Intelligence Corps, where there is a greater proportion of women.......Unquote

  10. So was she always TA then?

  11. just a thought here fellas...if this was your wife/gf/sister, how would you feel about these alleged incidents?

hmm.being sexually harassed/assaulted while in a state of undress, by a doctor in his surgery is a case for the police and General Medical Council. Not for some idiot officer to say 'you cant complain'.

If it was my wife/gf/sister id kick his cnut in.
