I posted this a short while ago about this groups intention of building an mosque for the olympic games in London.
From the TIMES
If they are involved in terrorism they are thinking very big are they not? The capacity of this mosque is also a statement of some significance with reguard to its 60,000 capacity with the olympic stadium only 70,000?

Using the principle of dual usage/legacy, this would be a good argument for only one building - athletes tracks etc during the Games, religous worship thereafter? Make it multidenominational (the Kingsway International Christian Church is looking for a new large home as the Olympics destroys theirs) and everyone is laughing - and socially integrated to boot. That will really 'break down barriers'. Add the displaced Hackney Dog Track and some are barking too.
3,00 muslims gathered in London and some knew those that were arrested, hardly shocking news. Paul Lewis doers not sound like a muslim name and apparently they knew he was a journo. Its not that I don't realise there are radicals out there but this seems like journo headlining and jumping on the fear bandwagon.
Hope the 300 volunteers to do the 3 day trip are not flying, 3 days won't even get you checked in just now..............
As for the mosque, Dilfors ideas show considerable merit, sure funding will be from from National Lottery. What about Sy when a radical Christian group tries to protest about the Shia Laws in 2012.
