  1. Hi all,

Over the past week I've been out running 3 times and each time I'm getting pain in my lower legs. It starts as soon as I set off and gets gradually worse, staying painful for an hour or two afterwards and still aching the following morning.

The pain is on the inside of both calfs, most of the way up to my knees when I'm running. After running when I rub my legs it's very sensitive about one third of the way up, just where the muscle and shin bone meet.

Any ideas? Not sure whether I should be resting or trying to run through it. I'm also cycling a lot at the moment (which causes no problems) so not sure whether this is making the problem worse or not.

    Thanks for looking
  2. Smacks of compartment syndrome; get thee to a proper Dr and find out!
  3. Don't think it's that as I'm not getting any of the other symptoms listed by the great Dr. Google.
  4. The dangers of internet diagnosis!

Seriously, get to the Drs, only then will you get a pucker answer; anything else would be a guess!
