Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Hi, I'm new but I hope you can help. My son is due to join in 7 weeks time, however last week whilst out mountain biking he fell and gave himself a pretty nasty injury. He got about a 3 inch cut to his knee which needed cleaning and stitches. It was quite deep so they had to sew the fatty layer up and the skin. He's done no damage to tendons, muscle, nerves etc and though he's not able to do phys the doctor says he will be good in 4 weeks. Does anyone know if this will affect his final medical and any advice would be appreciated.
  2. Ring the recruiter and give him all the info, he will be the best person to give you a heads up.
