What happens if you get an injury in basic?

say i was halfway through basic and i got an injury ?...is it a case of painkiller's..etc..and try and pull through the last 3 months....or they just say "goodbye"...or what ?

Just wondering what would happen.

Depends how serious it was, if it's shin spints or something like that i think you just get held back to recover.

What a bone question  but I'll answer it anyway...
Well it obviously depends doesn't it!!
If you fell off a 50ft building and broke your neck the Army won't exactly expect you to carry on!
But if it was just a case of a really mild twisted ankle or a scraped knee you would be expected to carry on. More often than not if you're ill or injured for more than 4 days you're back-trooped but I'm sure you won't be injured so why don't you just wait and see!! You can't know exactly what's going to happen to you all the time so chill!
