Increased Racism on the Site

Excellent interview, well worth a listen:

This is the chap behind the Titania McGrath twitter personality. What is striking is how the point can be made and made well by two people having a calm and rational conversation.

And it soothes my soul to know that there are in fact people who see reality for what it is and have disdain for the extremists of any banner.

Good luck to him in all his endeavours.

This book argues that Europe was predominant over the rest of the world due to its geographic location, as well as being resistant to many diseases which wiped out indigenous populations.

I'm not sure I entirely agree with his premise. As aforesaid, a lot of it has to do with politics and culture too. There was nothing stopping China from taking over the world when they were an historical power. It was their choice to look inwards and the European choice to look outwards.
They are making up for their past failings quite well at the moment

A genuine question. Well, two actually.

Has anything been invented in Africa without the help of non-Africans (south of the Sahara)?

Is there a written indigenous African language (south of the Sahara)?

With respect to the first question I think the answer is most likely no.

Yes to the second but not much.

There is an influential body of (mostly) American academics who peddle the pseudoscience/junk history concept of Afrocentrism. Essentially they try to rewrite the history of Africa as full of mighty civilisations, stable societies, advanced architecture, science and technology etc. Its all bollox.

Critics argue that it is mostly grounded in identity politics and "desirable myth" (i.e we would like this to be true) rather than actual historical research. The Skeptic's Dictionary calls it "pseudohistorical" and argues it is designed to encourage black nationalism and Black pride to fight the negative effects of racism.

Even black academics call it rubbish. One black history professor said Afrocentrism is "a mythology that is racist, reactionary, essentially therapeutic and is eurocentrism in black face." Ouch.

I suppose the $64K question is "if these advanced civilisations and societies existed then where TF is the evidence" as nobody seems able to find any. They are just a salve to soothe the hurt.

On the other hand why would a stable agricultural society which was self sufficient in food and other resources, had a barter system and was generally not in a state of want or conflict need to develop technology. We didn't for millenia.

As an aside and a reply to a previous post the earliest known writing is indeed from the present day Syria area. It will hearten the members of ARRSE to know that it was a record of how much beer was in a boozer.

Which is how the fantasy film Black Panther comes about.

Whats the mug behind the interviewer?

Whats the mug behind the interviewer?

The mug behind the interviewer looks like an ER II mug plus a 'Keep calm and carry on' coffee cup.

The mug in front of the interviewer is his face:)

All men alive today are descended from Shem, Ham or Japheth.

Racism is not the same as racialism.

Racialism
is acknowledging that the Creator has made the 70 Nations of Genesis 10 with certain traits and talents, some stronger, some weaker.

In particular the Hamites are laboring under a Divine handicap, and are only at their best when assisting their brothers. When a Hamite takes charge, it is a disaster eg Nimrod son of Cush, Pharaoh of Egypt, Barak Hussein Obama, Diane Abbott, Robert Mugabe etc etc

Another thought provoking interview, especially regarding Marxism and the way the application or socialist concepts are not bearing the fruit they promised.

The comment around 18 minutes in is interesting.

Interesting chap. He's friends with Douglas Murray too. As you say it's good to know there are some sensible people still left. The resisting wokeness tour sounds interesting.

Unfortunately, once they reach a certain height of popularity, a lot of guys like this are targeted by extremists and regularly receive death threats so hopefully he won't go the same was as certain Dutch film directors and politicians. Freedom of speech comes at a price.

The people below have either received death threats, been murdered or have had to emigrate due to their views. Douglas Murray also gets threats iirc.

Socrates was a brother (look at the nose) and Cleopatra was a sister. Some of them even claim Charles ii was black cos he had curly hair. Louis Theroux did a great documentary on em.

The earliest fossil evidence of early Homo sapiens appears in Africa around 300,000 years ago. There was no "Creator".

That ancient humans migrated out of Africa 300,000 years ago depends on the truth of the theory of evolution.

Even assuming a minimal growth rate and the worst decimations of war and disease, the world population today should be in the trillions! There should be billions of buried skeletons just from the "Stone Age" alone. Yet paleontologists are "perplexed" that the bones and artifacts of this teeming phantom population, whose remains should still be extant, are totally absent!

But according to the Biblical account, all men today are descendants from the eight survivors of Noah's Flood 4000 years ago, which to the present world population of 7 billion, is a perfect exponential growth curve, even with a growth rate of only 0.5% per annum. If skillful, intelligent human beings have been around for one million years, why would they wait almost 10,000 centuries before making written records? That there are none older than 4-5000 years, shows that the Biblical time scale is much more likely!

If you don't believe in evolution then you don't belong in this century.

Let's look at it this way, either every single mainstream scientific magazine, biologist and scientist in the world is wrong, or you are right. What do you think the chances are?

Furthermore, you also need proof of magic and miracles. The proof for evolution being true is absolutely overwhelming.

It's the year 2020, knowledge and education on the internet is largely free. There really is no room for this sort of outrageous ignorance about basic biology. Research the topic and educate yourself instead of being an embarrassment.
