Imperial War Museum has to apologise for WOKE anti Churchill Rant on remembrance sunday

This tells me all I need to know about MC Angel…

It ( I won’t use a pronoun) is one of today’s extreme hard left vocal agitators.
It will be a another Marxist socialist.
When it says “challenge the narrative “ it means push its own view point above the recorded reality (as per its performance).
It also seems in a position to try and influence (brain wash) the new generations of kids.

I think it’s political views, press ganging of youngsters and it’s part in forcing its woke views on others (lest they be demons, racists, anti gay etc for not agreeing to there Marxists viewpoints!) is sick.

I suspect that the PR dinlow at IWM who signed them up (probably thinking with good intentions that a young view point is a good idea) was duped by MC Marxist socialist.

Rant over - for a minute. But I’ll book a seat on the outrage bus!

I'm quietly chuckling over "eyebrow shop".

And because you all wanna see what it’s like and how it performs, here’s a YouTube treat for you.
Enjoys!

Personally, I think it tries too hard to be woke, ‘on vibe’, London centric, anti establishment etc.
It doesn’t have its own mind, is easily coerced by socialist ideology.
If it wasn’t a lefty, it’d be a NAZI.

One assumes the irony of performing the Imperial War Museum was presumably lost on the rappers…
Excellent, my very first thought when I read the article!
The thing is, why did nobody press that big switch on the wall that says "OFF" ? That is half the battle with this country, we are all quick to be offended but stand there like clowns with that look of disgust rather than doing something about it. I am not talking anarchy here, what I am saying is exactly the same as I said in the snowflake thread.
Free speech and opinion are a two way street, this is where MSM are getting in and twisting it one way. We are so lucky to be able to have our own views and opinions, in many places on this planet you would end up in a box. This right should not be manipulated to one sides set of beliefs.
I could not care one bit about your political bias, colour, creed, sexuality, favourite flavour of crisps or whatever. Agree to disagree and enjoy life.

Is this the party involved?

Does that moronic critter have a case of St Vitus Dance ? or is a mouse nibbling her vagina ?
she seems unable to stand still, and speaks life some sort of efnic innit
FFS if you approached me speaking like that , I am likely to get very vocal and very rude

I attended some function about 10 years ago, half way through a guest speaker, some longhaired unwashed dreadlocked workshy spineless wailing critters turned on their PA system and started a performance of vitriol and hatred
one of the group, strode directly across to them, and ripped asunder many power leads, and returned with them, after a few words in one direction
they didnt bother us again

I have no words to say, let me ask Mr Browning? ........"Browning says Nooooo"

When are people going to realise that rap is (c)rap?

So much of it is utterly devoid of artistic merit, but no-one can say anything because it's efnik.

It's not like it's a black/white issue; BB King, Jimi or Buddy Guy anyone?

The constant sticking of this form of music on a pedestal has just meant more dross finds its way into the mainstream, and it seems there's always some talentless cock/cockess ready to burst into rhyme.
It's performed by people who can barely talk, let alone sing.

It really winds me up "It's like...." No, it either is or isn't. It is wood or it is not wood, " I'm like?..." I will tell you what you are like, thick as fcuk because whatever you about to say has so little value you cannot fabricate a full sentence, it is the amercanised version of " Ermmm" which generally means that whatever is coming next is all bull5hit and able to be discarded as pointless drivel.

I don't see why anyone is surprised by this, only a few years ago during the BLM riots museum professionals were tweeting advice about how to permanently deface Churchill's statue. When questioned about her post the yank girl said "my boss has my back".

Most of the industry is riddled with the left. That's why they're decolonising everything and trying to re write history.

That would not be an ecumenical matter, but a very leftwaffe thing to do. Only those who loudly declare how tolerant and liberal they are can cancel someone else.

Thank F^^^ I am self employed and free to insult everyone regardless of race creed or colour

I think that is dependant on time and circumstance and on Remembrance day I for one would feel totally justified in pulling the plug. Have your views, fine, no problem. Just not here and now.
It could be argued that because of the sacrifice of so many these people have their freedoms. Correct, but as such people still need to respect that there are times and places to air your views.

UK arts professionals are voicing support for Madeline Odent, a curator at the Royston and District Museum and Art Gallery in Hertfordshire, who sparked controversy after discussing on social media substances that could be used to damage bronze statues. Odent posted a series of tweets to her personal account after Black Lives Matter demonstrators toppled a statue of slave trader Edward Colston in Bristol and historic statues worldwide come under scrutiny.

Odent wrote on Twitter: “From an art conservation perspective, it’s honestly fine to throw paint on memorials of genocidal racists! Paint is pretty easy to clean off. What would be an absolute shame is if people were to throw certain common household items that can cause irreversible bronze disease.”

The tweets continue: “Because like, if somebody were to, idk, throw a ton of tomatoes at a bust of a genocidal racist, nobody would probably notice the chemical reaction until it was too late to save the artefact.”

A relationship manager for Arts Council England who oversees the funding body’s portfolio of museums in the east of England, also backs Odent on Twitter on a personal account, saying: “On top of this just being amusingly written, the curator in question does excellent work. She has worked hard to improve engagement with the museum. We fully support her.”

And this person worked in a museum where they're meant to preserve history ffs.

Right, I'm off to Royston to test her ideas on some of the other art works in her museum and gallery. Ideally some of the ones she has spent hundreds of hours conserving, but I don't like the message they convey. If questioned, I'll simply explain that I'm following the advice of their curator, no it's not criminal damage. No sirree, it's a new art installation.

I can't help feeling she was upset when the Taliban started blowing up stuff that didn't fit with their world view.

It had long been an ambition of mine to visit the IWM, which I achieved a couple of years back. To say I was underwhelmed is an understatement. However, I was also very disappointed with the National Maritime Museum. Far too few actual exhibits and far too much emphasis on children 'playing games' to 'learn'.

When I was a child I remember vividly being taken to Kelvingrove Museum in Glasgow and being amazed and enthralled. Been there too recently - let's just say it too has changed.

Anyway, have IWM come out with an official apology yet?

Also known as Shauna O'Briain. How she must hate having such a name.
