Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Great programme on BBC 1 using injured troops for a production of injuries inflicted during war fighting.

    Taken from BBC page:
Imagine...Theatre of War captures every aspect of rehearsals, right up to the triumphant performance of The Two Worlds of Charlie F, as professional frontline soldiers, all of them badly injured, join forces with a professional theatre company.
  2. Just finished watching it. It was brilliant. Due to the success of the production, it is now touring the country starting the 19th July in Birmingham.

Well done guys and girls. Brilliant performance.

Stayed up far too late drinking far too much wine to watch it through last night.
Good to see Ray Winston getting behind it.

  7. Saw the play yesterday at the Edinburgh festival. Wow. Just wow! See it if you can or while you can.

The cast mixed with the punters at the bar afterwards & one of the guys, still serving, said he doesn't know how long this play (recovery programme) is funded to continue and passed the comment what price do you put on recovery.

Interesting comment which links in someways with the H4H thread.

Anyway it pages long, so see the play if you can!
