Illegal torrent downloads are bad!

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I was having a conversation with some computer geeky types at work, and it seems they have got into the habit of not paying for the more widely used software packages. MS Work etc... One of the speccy examples claimed to have £20k worth of software on his laptop. Now, I'm an upstanding citizen and think this behaviour is unforgivable (raising prices, big shareholders missing out on dividends and so on) but if I were an unscrupulous type and wanted to get an illegal Keygen for Photoshop Elements 9 for the Mac, where would I find a trusted torrent?

Just for research purposes of course.

    Many thanks.

  2. Ask them why they downloaded MS office programs if they can almost identical software for free called Open Office?

Anyway, pirate bay is good for torrents of any kind. I heard...
  3. Try

But you didn't hear that from me. You'd need UTorrent as well. *Cough*
  4. Upstanding citizen my arrse ;-)

H33T is on the same level as TPB as Demonoid is a Private tracker...
  5. A lot of the big companies are relaxed about personal piracy it's when you have some cash to be taken off you.

Although Microsoft are way smarter than mcdonalds when they discovered they are about to sue a bunch a hippys who have delusions of being anarchists they go from being threating to lobbing as some free kit to go away.
  6. Next you'll be trying to criminalise shop lifting, bond trading and recreational looting. It's as English as warm beer, cricket and paying a fortune for your children to indulge in deviant sex with chinless aristo mutants on a off chance of getting to rule the country.
  7. Er.............. could you say that in English :)
  8. I'm glad you said that, it was like trying to read Cantonese with a drunken one eyed squint.

  9. Because its shite?
  10. Problem I have with open office is that's its got that same big dirty ORACLE logo that JPA does.......erghhhhhhh
  11. And the latest version of Word isn't?
  12. I suggest you just stick to the sites already mentioned if you have'nt heard of the site i've mentioned....
  13. Open Office is an outstanding piece of software, and of course it is free too.
  14. I'm enlightened after asking my Google. Demonoid is invitation only, no?

  15. It may well be these days (as it's a private site) thats why I try to suggest Public open access sites only, however you still need a decent a Torrent client as already mentioned ie Utorrent...
