If you thought your Navy was gay

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. At least our Navy doesn't have 'male' cheerleaders!
  2. You didn't watch the commercials did you?
  3. I have now.

First film, perhaps they were taught by the US Navy cheerleading team?

Second film, Power Rangers join the Navy.

Great stuff, I kept waiting for the ships to transform into dinosaurs or something.
  4. Thats why I love Japan.

Wonder if they volenteired or just got dicked.
  5. T, I think you're under the mistaken impression that I'm going to defend the nonexistant machismo of the USN. I take it you guys have seen the Bud Commercial about male cheerleaders?
  6. "seaman ship"? I once knew a hogg who was known as the Ark Royal because she accomodated more semen than a through deck cruiser.
  7. Don't let 'em fool you! They're just lulling us into a false sense of security before they start ramming battleships, pop-poms fluttering.

They've failed, though. A deception plan has to be credible and no-one will believe a military organisation could be that gay.

They didn't call her Herpes because she was a carrier?
  9. Were the Village People involved in the production?

Don't know, but I remember reading in the late 70's that the USN considered "In the Navy", as a recruiting song, until someone advised them of it's gay connotations.

Mind you I think I read it in the sun, so it might not be true.

I think the RN have got a bit of catching up to do:
