Never mind the Hitlerjugend, just see what the Young Pioneers of East Germany used to get up to:

    Pfadfinderinnen ist bestimmt weiblich!

Or Girl Guides as you Inselaffen say.
  3. Either way, Hitler youth was WAY cooler.
  4. Outstanding. Those machines would be worth a bob or two. No gap between the first and second road wheels, some other features slightly doubtful.

    MMMMMM Ostalgie.

    ideal for berlin
  6. Erm, I was not referring to the Boy or Girl Scouts who, if I recall my scoutmaster days correctly, had no role in"homeland security."

they are not very tactical though with their thunderbirds outfits.
  9. It's just a fully civilianised version of the National Guard by the looks of it, gap filling the lack of reservists they can find to fill sand-bags and bring tea to people.

Can you really envision this lot being allowed to carry? Range days and shooting looks more like a recruiting 'perk' and not part of their training.
  10. My dear fellow you must have forgotten the goal of our Great Leader to have a civilian "homeland defense" force (NOT the National Guard--our real "militia" from an historical standpoint) as well armed and equipped as the actual military. That then begs a HUGE question of "WHY?" especially if the current and proposed cuts in the real military continue.
