HUMBLE

#1
Is anyone else getting fed up with the overuse of the word 'humble'. Everyone seems to be 'humbled' these days by the performance of their troops or whoever. Be proud of them, full of admiration, respectful etc etc but stop being humble; it conjours up such a cringy image and the more senior the user the less sincere it becomes. :x

No. You seem to be though.
There's nothing wrong with being humbled by the performance of troops, especially this coming Sunday.
