Funniest thing, and couldn't have happened to a nicer chap. Nice timing too.

£200,000 exec axed after telling jobseeker: **** off | The Sun |News

[h=2]A RECRUITMENT executive was looking for fresh work himself last night after he emailed "f*** off" to a job hopeful — and it went out to 4,000 people.[/h] Bungling Gary Chaplin was axed from his £200,000-a-year post at a top headhunting firm after his expletive-riddled reply turned him into an industry laughing stock.
whoops!

Hopefully future employers will google his name and see just what a **** he is. Sadly a lot of cnuts work in recruitment and think they are special because they have power over a candidates employability.

Cracking response from Dan McCarthy too - really twisted the knife with all that faux professionalism and the crocodile tears.

Wait. Some **** spams 4000 people with the same email; one of those people kicks off, and they're the ****??

Chaplin's lost his career and had his personal reputation ripped apart in the tabloids a few days before Christmas. Does the fact that he's hard working and successful enough to earn £200k make him fair game?

The reverse bigotry in this thread is ******* unreal.

If he's on 200K he knows the rules, one of which is to remain professional no matter what the provocation and another of which is to know how to use a primary business communication system, particularly if you are handling sensitive and confidential information like CVs.

Life's tough but, if he's good enough to pull down 200k, he won't be out of work for long - if Dan McCarthy's got any style, he'll offer the bloke a job.
