Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. For sale, used but in excellent condition. Comes with a shot load of weights, and a floor matt if you want it. Awesome bit of kit. Selling due to a move around in my gaff

    £500 - collection

Delivery possible, but will cost a bit more due to hiring a van etc.

  2. A move around? You must be getting married; she wants you fat and flabby so that (a) other birds don't fancy you and (b) you're in no position to complain when she hits the chocs and inflates like a liferaft about six months in.
  3. I'm turning my gym into a library/study, not that it's any of your business? You wanna buy it? If not, piss off.
  4. Ah, a grot room. Your preparations for matrimony are clearly at an advanced stage.
  5. I have a big open plan flat, my whole place is one grot room. I'm just making better use of some of the space.

You really must be bitter about your marriage. Bin her.
  6. Hahahaha his Lordship PA Esq, has progressed beyond comics - or do you just need a quiet area to concentrate on your colouring in?
  7. No, this one's OK; the first one was taken out by a public-spirited wagon driver acting in the service of humanity, and the second one ran off with an old friend who had to take an overdose to get away from her. All in all, I've been far luckier than most.

looks like a handy bit of kit. Pec deck, cable pull, smith, leg ext, leg curl. Am I missing anything? And the bench declines?
  9. It does everything. It's really a good bit of kit, shame to see it go, but I've got big plans.

For your library/study? Intriguing, swapping physical exercise for mental exercise. And which array of subject matter will festoon your new oak bookcases?
  11. Old copies of Mayfair/Razzle/Escort/Escort Readers Wives/Big & Bouncy/Mums 30/40/50/60+
I sadly got rid of my collection a few years ago;-)
  12. I have a good selection of books, and other bits and pieces such as my collection of Groggs

You're being bashful about your big plans. Groggs are cool, they must be worth a pretty penny. Well, good luck with selling your Marcy and for your new intellectual endeavours
  14. They are cool, though I dunno what they're worth. I have a few signed ones, and a few of the older ones. It's irrelevant though as I don't intend to sell them.

Well they can cost quite a lot today, so I imagine older, less available ones are even more valuable. What do you have - sporting stars? Movie stars? A mix of all?
