What's with the warning shots? Why don't they just sink them?
Nah, they have to leave that for the crabs to expend squillions in super high-tech bombs and missiles to justify their existence. Crab Air can only do that when the pedalos are still and parked.

It shows that they can be kept at bay by a responsible show of force, without unnecessary violence.

Lost: so they can be bombed in port by RAF... as aforementioned... but why not just sink them. What violence do the individuals understand... couple of Grad rockets into miasma... no probs but opportunity to decimate several barstewards who must know what they are up against... obviously not cricket old chap.

She left Portsmouth at the end of March 2011 to relieve the Type 22 frigate HMS Cumberland on 8 April 2011. She remains off the coast of Libya.

And Cumberland is now to the knackers yard?

Libyans must have been recieving tactical advice from Tekirdag.

Next time they just need a few more RIBs and FIACs to overwhelm the Ship's defences....
