HMS Endurance flooded and without power.

Wouldn't like to be going in to a flood of Antartic water!!!

She is anchored within helicopter range of a Chilean lighthouse so not too far from civilisation and the flooding doees not seem to have affected electrical power generation, so air conditioning, ice cream machines and IPOD charging seems not to be affected.

You haven't read the article: At time of going to press it was not known if the heating had been restored, but the ship is in the southern hemisphere where it is currently summer.
Regardless of how summery it is down there it is still fecking cold. Likewise I'm sure Barbados isn't particularly festive and snowy this time of year, even though it is in the northern hemisphere.
