    Is there anyone that can help, am after the history of the SQMS/CQMS appointments but am not having much luck.I require it for a presentation purposes.So lots of facts dates would be great. PM me with info or any links.

  2. One key moment is the reform of the infantry Pre WW1 when the infantry went from having 8 companies to 4 companies per Battalion, each with a colour serjeant. The meant that each "New Company" had two colouir sergeants. One became the CSM and the other the CQMS.
