Highway of Heroes

I swear someone let off a canister of CS in my car on the way home from work last night. Only explanation for the welling in the eyes.

On the radio was live news coverage (including the radio station re-routing their traffic watch plane) for at least 40 minutes on the procession for the latest 3 fallen Canadians coming home.

People were lined up on bridges for almost 3 hours in -10 weather, fire, local and provincial police, ambulance crew holding flags, cars and trucks honking in respect, hundreds and hundreds of people honouring three Cdns who they never knew.

Going to chin the bugger that didn't yell Gas Gas Gas. Now where's me wipes?

Here's a photo of yesterday's trip. Apparently all the overpasses between Trenton and Toronto (and considering the trip is over 170km, there are quite a few) had scenes like this...
