  1. Alright lads I am a 22 year old guy who wants to join the infantry. My problem is as follows... When i was about 6 I had a very mild form of epilepsy but only occasionally had a seizure at night. Nothing happened until the age of about 11 when I had another. I was then put on medication until the age of 15 and since am free of this disease and can get letter of doc to confirm this. would this hinder my entry into the army? Please forgive me if this is the completely wrong thhread for this type of question I am a new member and am not that familiar with this site yet. Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers.

  4. Siezures only at night are acceptable. So is Benign Rolandic Epilepsy (which sounds like you). Epilepsy is still very much misunderstood within the army, however you should be OK.
