Help with a few definitions on job spec

  1. Hi,

    I've just received a new job spec sheet through the post from my ACIO detailing the selection criteria. There is a section under there titled 'PSS(R) O/P Standards' and has the following criteria listed:

    SL: 25
    CA: 90
    LM: 15
    Run: Level 3
    Pass Grade: C

    Does anyone know what these definitions stand for?
    What is a level 3 run and a pass grade of C?
     
  2. hey buddy i dno wot job you going in for? i got my Interview tomoz and going for RA Light Gunner and on my job breifs at the back says

    PSS(R) O/P STANDARDS

    SL: 40
    CA: 120
    LM: 20
    RUN: LEVEL 2
    PASS GRADE: C


    and i havn't got a clue what it means either and i don't know were abouts i can find the information for it if i find any thing out ill leave a quote..

    Unless some 1 else knows thanks..

    I just got a sheet here on about the PSSR

    says:

    ADSC PSSR 1.5 MILE RUN

    PARA'S 9 MINS 18 SECS (Up to 9 Mins 40 secs)
    LEVEL 1: 12 Mins 45 secs All Infantry ( & RLC PIONEERS)
    LEVEL 2: 13 mins 15 secs ROYAL ARTILLERY, ROYAL ARMOURED CORPS, ROYAL ENGINEERS, HOUSEHOLD CAVALRY, REME

    LEVEL 3: 14 MINS ALL OTHER ARMS <---- ( YOU )

    So thats the ADSC PSSR For the 1.5 Mile run For Selection..

  4. You dont know what it means then you have failed at the first aptitude test dont bother turning up lads but thanks for the interest you have shown
     
  5. PSS(R) are just the upper body strength and fitness requirments you'll need to meet at ADSC to be eligible for that job choice
     
  6. Come on lads, take some intelligent guesses, these are what i think:
    SL: Static Lift
    CA: jerry can CArry
    LM: ?
    RUN: Obvious!
    PASS GRADE: TST?
     
  7. It's easy to guess them, but I wanted to make sure I had it right.
