Help Them Out ... £200 please!

Sorry, folks, I know we've been begging non-stop, but I've just been contacted with a new case that needs a LITTLE bit of help.

MDN is out of contact, I've taken the plunge and said "We can do this".

Basically, we have an ex-Falklands PTSD case. No money, life not working out too well, jobs come and go .... He currently has no money for food or electricity, no hot water, heating, or even a working bathroom, but a SSAFA caseworker has managed to get him though Christmas, and pay electricity. Longer term there are solutions being found, but the "Flash to Bang" need is ...
Basically, his house is a danger to health, and we would very much like to get it cleared of all the rubbish, broken furniture etc. before Christmas, so he can see that he is moving forward.

In all, it would cost £175 to have the house cleared (and this is for people doing most of the work for free), and this would then pave the way for the house to be renovated in the New Year with funds obtained in conventional ways.
Now I probably spend that on wine in a month [at least  ].

Good people of ARRSE, can I ask for one more small Christmas rattle of the bowl to just get this guy sorted?

Not a clue ... MDN has the numbers, and he's off-line.

I'll just have to guess

£175 is a piece if pi66 for ARRSE ... especially if some newbies join the "Feel Good, Donate" experience.

Calm down, there are other people out there!!
Well I don't want Horsa's money getting mixed up with mine, do I? A bear might turn nasty, even though he's been taken to lunch by three lovely ladies today!

Ad there's me getting faintly moist as the tourist rate staggered back to $1.45 .... buggrit.

Anyway, who else is joining the party?

Sort a former mate ... he was a teenager when we went through the Falklands, and it's still sitting there on top of him.
Lucky old sods like me just had to survive endless tours of MoD ... think on

£20.00 sent to hooverbags for the cause.

All the best
Thanks, mate. Good one.

Let's get this guy back on his feet over Chrimbo, and then the "Big Boys" can take over and address the long-term problems.

What we don't need is all the broken stuff and debris sitting in his face ... let's get him up and moving again.
