  1. As I said HELP!

Popped out for 2 mins this afternoon, came back to find that PC display wasn't working.

    Re-started, and NO DISPLAY.

Took out Graphics Card, booted fine with built in graphics chip.
Cleaned out the slot, tryed again - still not working.

Took another PCI=E card from 2nd PC, and tryed with that - still not working. (But 2nd card is working on 2nd PC).

    Did a BIOS flash update.

    PCI-E still not working!

So before I purchase a new motherboard, is there anything else I could possible do?

    AMD 5200 (Duel Core)
    3 GB Ram
    AS Rock Alive NF7G-HD720p R5.0 - Motherboard
HD 4850 G/Card - Was working fine up till this afternoon!

Does the card from computer 1 work in computer 2?

  3. Yes! Without any issues! It looks more and more like my PCI-E slot has died, so I have decided to order a new m/board, and then keep the old one for emergencys.

    oh well....

    Thanks for the reply msr.
