RSDG were'nt formed until 1971-they were the Royal Scots Greys. Do'nt think it's them as the eagle is facing the wrong way-he should be looking over his left shoulder.

Edited: actually, the pic s so poor, the feckin' bird could be facing either way!

yeah just clocked the same thing! back in tha day might be other way round(negatives and stuff) and defo looks like Scots Greys badge
