Help Identifying Collar Dogs?

  2. It looks like the Scots DG cap badge, it could be from one of their former units?

  4. RSDG were'nt formed until 1971-they were the Royal Scots Greys. Do'nt think it's them as the eagle is facing the wrong way-he should be looking over his left shoulder.

    Edited: actually, the pic s so poor, the feckin' bird could be facing either way!
     
  5. yeah just clocked the same thing! back in tha day might be other way round(negatives and stuff) and defo looks like Scots Greys badge

    This chap is Scots' Greys. Could the badge be crossed guidons, Lancers?

    Edit. His dogs look inwards, too.
     
  7. The eagle might have a crick in the neck but it's still the RSG cap badge.
