Help from our Septic friends

It seems that he's 51, not late fifties, and married:

"Hats off to you Vietnam experience hero! Well I’m 51 and a 30 years army combat 19Delta ranger. I could put down four “ungrateful for what Trumps done for this country and veterans” civilian chumps on my worst day. I don’t have a MAGA hat now but today me and my wife (veteran as well) plan to buy a few for us and our friends. Until our take no s**t from anybody president gets re-elected we all have agreed to wear one every single day when we leave home. I dare someone or more to raise up lip off and touch us.
Well they have no idea. That’s a fact jack!
We weren’t political until Trump being the stone cold president with the heart of a soldier came to our town US of A Look at what he has accomplish in the face of adversity and the whole time the entire capital has tried to take him down. Still he has been laughing all the way to the polls. Good for him! That takes a lot of heart. I could build a “fireteam” around a guy like that and have. You better believe it. Thank you Mister President for looking out for little guy soldier still getting it done today or veterans now home. If these idiot Dems want Americans to stay between two waring factions then they better SIGN UP,SUIT UP OR SHUT UP. We all could use the time off and spend some time with our families back home. The House spends all its time complaining about nothing that matters. We got people starving here, bridges falling apart, Flint water is poison, drug crisis, immigrant waves at our door step, schools need repair, military housing is death traps……..we need to start taking care of Americans and American interests. Everytime one of thise Dems says “the American people”. They don’t know a damn thing about American. They make me want to puke everytime that use us as excuses to mistreat others. They are so out of touch with their constituents that is insane. I’ve been deployed more times then I’m comfortable with sharing but I got it done and lost alot of good guys and gals along the way. 10 plus years of us glossing our live at the behest of the House and them trying to solve world wide problems isn’t our damn job and things arnt a bit better. These retards have been killing each other sense the old Testament days of Abraham. You can’t help people that don’t want to be helped and that make absolutely no sense in there thinking. They just hate for hates sake. When they are done in one place they move and do it someplace else. I know I’ve been to most of the hell holes. Bring us all home Donald. Ignore the dems saying us leaving the Kurds out to die. Look I’ve worked with them many, many times. They always have their own agenda and guilting is into fighting there messes is old fashioned manipulation. If the government was boots on the ground they would see it. We know but who is listening to the everyday soldier over there. Bring us home and if generation wars is what the dems want let them put their boots on and hussle on over and relieve us. We need the rest. More than you civilians could ever know. Just saying……

Sargeant First Class “HAT” McPadden (Army “gratefully” retired)"

Interesting He seems to have the same low opinion that I do of the damned Dimocraps who have wasted three years and millions of the taxpayers' dollars to try to force Mr. Trump from office. He can't be all bad then.

If that is his "I Love Me Wall" , I'm wondering why none of the ribbons are in correct order.

One might also wonder how he did 30 years in 21, with 8.5 of those years deployed, and still couldn't seem to do more than 3 years good time in a row, once. Note, his highest ranking "official" picture only has two ribbons and two quals... no wings, and nothing else.

He may be, but his story isn't, and not a single $0.50 ribbon in the correct order in that rack. Note the pic on the right is the highest rank shown on uniform, E4 with 8th Infantry Division.
The Iron Cross looks fake as well. ;)

Indeed. Must be the new math. I'm also wondering what combat action he witnessed that he was able to get a CAB for?

Probably the same ebay shopping incident that got him his Defense Meritorious Service Medal ribbon in the lower middle of that impressive rack, right below his Army Distinguished Service Cross.

I am amazed at how he made it to SFC...

...without going to any of the required NCO schools...

Or did he just run out of room for his NCOPD ribbon?

I guess they make exceptions for the Colorado National Guard Soldier of the Year...

Maybe it was a choice between putting up his Knock -Knock ribbon or the Muppet ribbon. The pretty colors of the ASR rainbow must have won out

It is so fucked up it is hard to read.

I am going to stick to my original assessment of "more likely our hero here served less than 4 years as a marginal Bradley maintainer and got booted, then built his legend from whatever misunderstood bits he picked up in his short career, mixed with every war movie he's watched since."

Adding, and mounted all of his tat he purchased from ebay on the box it shipped in.

I do thank you all for your assistance. I believe my initial read on him was correct, and as @Anonymous Yank , @Ruckerwocman and @Effendi have all said, he's adding a lot to what was probably a limited military experience. I'm not going to be wasting any more time on him, and he's probably harmless.

He could have, possibly, got out of the Reg as a Specialist after 3 years, and then gone to a particularly lax Cav unit in the Colorado Nasty Girls where he he spent 18 years climbing 3 more grades... Guard being the reason I did not see him in the DB any higher... but, I would still think he'd understand order of precedence a bit better, even if he didn't improve his spelling and math.

Sorry, DB?

Is he writing his own version of that Tome of Military Veracity 'Carnivore'?

It also appears he was Idaho Army National Guard with the 116th Cav.
