  1. My father has just died, he served in 1st Bn Para Regt 45 - 48 in the Palestine campaign, I need to write a little a Eulogy paragraph or two of where and what he did in 1 Para for his funeral and have only a week . Can anyone please help me ,

I have not been able to find anything of value out from an internet search I have only very little of what he told me and a photo albumn placing him in :
    Haifa - april 46 -47
    Khafar vitkin
    Peta Tiqva
Tel Aviv search July -Aug 46
    Ein shima aug 46 - GOC's escort
    Port said
    Jaffra -47
    Lebonan border area -47

He told me he was on his way to Japan when the Atom bomb was dropped so they stayed in the Med I don't know if this is true. He also said he was part of boarding parties on various ships.
In aug 46 there are photo's of him as GOC escort in Ein shima.
