Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Added to my wish list :)

  2. Patrick Bishop was wounded while reporting on the Bosnia War in 1993. he was 'tail end Charlie' in a foot patrol from 1 PWO and took the brunt of a home-made Claymore fired by a drunken Croat militaman.

Story goes that as he was being rushed to the Field Hospital in the back of a Warrior with a Medic doing his best to patch up about a hundred ball-bearing holes, Bishop was busy writing his story!

    Nails or what?

  3. His Book Fighter Boys is top quality and was very well received by the Veterans too, if he keeps to the style he is as good at, then this will be a very good book, he doesnt over glamourise, and found he says it as it was.
