Your quite right, however our "official" title, according to Bn HQ is Clwyd ACF, 4th Bn The Royal Welsh. Apparently there is no "need" to place the word Cadet twice in the title.

Any explanations, I'd be happy to receive. :D

I was merely observing that you seem quite keen to drop the 'cadet' part of the title but I now feel perhaps you were simply trying to bait a response?

Not the 4th Battalion the Royal Welsh though is it......its not a TA or a Regular Unit that is a battalion of a regular unit. Other Counties that are all badged, such as the LI and SCOTS ones use the term Cadet in the title before Battalion.

Surely its 4th Cadet Battalion the Royal Welsh, otherwise known as "Blankshire" ACF?

Well that's what it says on the T Shirt they gave me (or very similar).

Good to see you on here by the way G.
