Im a young lad (19) and even tho I'm supposedly from the 'playstation generation' 8O I'm the type of guy who'll graft till I told to stop and I'm not just joinin up to boast about being in the army, (like some people I know)

Dont get your first question.

Life in the Corps (As in all the Corps') is extremly busy.

Get to your first Unit before thinking about P Coy.

Mate, purely out of curiosity, what made you choose the Royal Signals? Was it your own decision after having viewed up the options or were steered towards the Corps by the recruiter?

Just being nosey about why recruits choose the capbadge that they do.

My recruiter was in the royal lancers, so he had no say really.
Without a doubt I've had myself set on the para's, as my fitness has always been good (in my eyes)
I wanted to join a regular unit first and also get a working trade behind me, and make sure I'm a good level of fitness, then put in for P Company.
But out of all the combat support corps, I thought the Signals would be a good corps to join and get a good trade behind me.
but from what I'm reading on Arrse, is that all the Signal's do is scrape rust off tent pegs...

That is bollocks, all of our tents are brand new

Seriously, The Corps is as good as any for trade/promotion/career.

You also have the option of para/taped eyes/AAcommando, etc.

It is up to you.
