Drones have completely changed the balance of power in the world. Small countries now have the ability to project power as shown in Yemen, Syria and now here. Starts to look like the era of tanks may really be over.

Not great news at the best of times. Happening with Erdogan running neighbouring Turkey is especially not great, as he will assist Azerbaijan in some way, one imagines.

There was a report in the last 48hrs of Turkey airlifting troops (non-Turkish) into the Caucasus.

What type of tank please?
Given that there's seems to be something rotating on most of the "soon to be ex-tanks", I'd say some sort of AA vehicle.

Having said that, on all 3 clips, I can't see any kind of incoming, so it might be a bit of disinformation by the Azerbaijanis.

An unusual situation, with largely Christian NATO in support of Muslim, Turkish-backed Azerbaijan against Christian, WWI Turkish genocide victim, CSTO member Armenia.

'A senior NATO official on Sunday called on Azerbaijan and Armenia to immediately end clashes in the occupied Upper Karabakh region.

“The parties should immediately end clashes,” James Appathurai, the NATO secretary general’s special representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, said in a statement.

“The parties should resume negotiations for a peaceful solution. NATO supports the efforts of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe [OSCE] Minsk Group."

'Border clashes broke out earlier in the day after Armenian forces targeted Azerbaijani civilian settlements, and military positions.

'Relations between the two former Soviet nations have been tense since 1991 when Armenian military occupied the Upper Karabakh, or Nagorno-Karabakh region, an internationally recognized territory of Azerbaijan.'

Pretty sure 9K33 isn’t a ‘tank’ even for Daily Mail reporters.

Russian AA kit proves itself to be "somewhat less than effective". Yet again.
